this kinda seems like a lie tbh :patrice: i don't believe her

biden and kamala have never really liked each other, ever since she shyt on him in the debate. he chose her for identity reasons (which failed :beli:). biden never thought she was some kind of great politician to follow him up

and i DEFINITELY don't remember biden immediately endorsing kamala, we were having the primary conversation, yeah, this bytch is lying :mjlol:
Then aren't you agreeing with her? Biden did endorse her quickly even before Obama. But the premise is wrong to begin with because in that short window everyone, including the party, was pushing Biden to endorse her.

Biden did endorse Harris immediately. Because it was an internal war that Biden and the Clintons won. The Clintons got behind Harris immediately and did not want a open primary. The rich donors, Obama and Pelosi wanted an open primary. But once Biden endorsed, Obama fell in line and endorsed Harris a few days later.

My personal opinion is that the only reason Biden endorsed Harris was to stick to the rich donors, Obama and Pelosi. Plus, since Harris was the running mate, Harris was the only person in the Democrat party that could have inherited the money from the Biden campaign. Anyone else would have had to start from scratch financially.

That would have been tough to have an open primary. How long would that have been? 4 weeks? 6 weeks? How is that enough time to do a primary? How does that candidate have enough time to run an effective campaign after the primary while trying to keep the party together?

Don't buy this. Obama and Biden are super tight. Obama's team is largely still running the show in the party and with Biden. No falling in line from him.

Hillary probably would be salty another woman getting in before her imo.

The word at the time was P3losi was pushing his ass out. If anything Clooney forced his hand (perhaps at her behest).

Anyways Biden outmaneuvered the whole media and the naysayers with that Sunday announcement and endorsement.

You damn right that the media wanted the dem party collapse and chaos from the primary

It was 4 months. A primary in 4 months is insane. Her coming her and saying she wanted a primary is bullshyt, cause 9 times out of 10 Kamala wins that too since no one with any sense is trying to run for president out of the blue in 4 months.
i don't know how ppl were convinced kamala was going to win when the democrats literally wrote the book on how to defeat her themselves :dead:

it won't be this week, because the hill blame game has to happen first, but the internal polls that had people thinking this was close when illinois of all states turned into a battleground need spotlight too.

the problem is that Biden lied to all of us

during the 2020 primary, there were loud references to his age. and his response was to say "i will be a transitional president", which was as directly as he could say "i will not run for a second term"

then he fukking ran :snoop: only to crash out in disgrace

That motherfųcker was already on fumes 2 years into it so the Dems had plenty of time to hoodwink Dwayne Johnson and Gavin Newsome into enough of a smoke screen dream team so they looked like a bromance comedy movie by Election Day

Kamala loses and 9 times out of 10 she is taking black women with her.
The Democrats were never going to get white women because they ain’t shyt, and these Gen Z fukks are brain washed.

Maybe they get the Muslim and Latino vote but I am not sure that would be enough to win.

Plus once again it’s not about beating Kamala it would be about having 2-3 months to run a presidential campaign. Like I think Biden probably would have done worst, but shyt “Don’t change a horse midstream” also been a thing since people ride horses.

i wasn't. i wanted them to name Gavin Newsom/Gretchen Whitmer as the ticket:yeshrug:

i knew that despite the pushback they would have gotten for skipping over kamala, it was the right thing to do. i'd say tuesday bore that out pretty strongly. running bidenflation's VP, who is an awful politician herself, was a disaster

Yeah, i'm just saying the primary convo didn't get much traction in that short window. It was secondary to the main convo which was getting him to endorse Kamala.

PUBLICLY SAID THEY

BIDEN ENDORSED HER ANYWAY

Based on the current data we have I think it really wouldn't have mattered. Trump got a bunch of people who never vote to come out for him. It also wasn't time for a primary in any practical sense. Let's move forward and figure out how we are going to deal with this mad man and block at least some of his bullshyt.
Not necessarily if they could distance themselves from the Biden administration.
