yeah i remember some dude saying most our names sounds like "World of Warcraft" names that's cos most are olde english and scottish names. irish origin FIRST names are all the rage over there for boys and girls right now... kerron...keir...kirani...keiran etc etc...

true true, one of the best things about jamaicans is their embrace of tradition and cultural history. very proud, so i could see how families over the years have held onto and slightly remixed the past influence from the uk into their own individual styles, even though they may have some disdain over the uks imperial overreach
