Counterpart is streaming on Prime and it’s one of the best shows of the last decade, but it rarely gets any buzz. It originally ran on Starz but if it was on HBO then it would be up there with the greats. It only ran two seasons before it got cancelled but fortunately the writers planned on a two season story arc so you get an actual conclusion.
It’s about a Cold War between alternate universes and it has peak acting, storyline, and drama. The main characters play two versions of themselves from different realities and I can’t recommend it enough. Don’t look up any reviews though, for some reason they’re almost all filled with spoilers. Go into the first episode blind and get taken away.
