Quentin Groves had next in a lot of people's eyes
Corey Lemonier was the transition between the aforementioned star and Dee Ford the GOAT (who passed it down to Lawson, who passed it down to Davidson hopefully)
Offensively, Onterio McCalebb held down some of the most anemic Auburn offenses back when. I always thought he was very comparable to Kenjon Barner and Oregon's change of pace backs, but was utilized a lot worse
Kodi Burns is my pick. Dude was a decent QB for us but was moved to receiver his junior year. Took him a while to get used to it but he ended catching a 35 yard touchdown his senior year in the national championship game
(1:45)
He even threw a TD to Cam
to my Auburn Brehs
These were some of the first that popped in my head.
McCalebb was a lot better than folks gave him credit for and people always talked about his size, but dude never stayed down.
Kodi Burns, I always felt like dude got a raw deal. Was expected to be the man but then got screwed in the dumpster fire 2008 season. I always rooted for the breh and we know he was the heart and soul of the BCS championship team. That speech when he announced he was changing positions.
Then getting that Bo Jackson co sign.
Him catching that touchdown against Oregon was poetic justice.
Now someone who I felt like got props but didn't get the shine was Smooth but our team was so run heavy. But Adams bailed Cam out a lot that season. That SEC Championship that year.
