From Russia With Love

I love Casino Royale and it's my favorite and for me, the best, but it's also got four acts and that fourth act can drag a bit. From Russia With Love is lean, mean, and a straight to the point spy story. Not an ounce of fat on its bones. Perfectly constructed from frame one, everything setup has a payoff, there are no loose ends, and it's just a very tight story.

I don't think a "perfect" movie means its my favorite or even my pick for best. I think perfect, in this sense, is everything from the script to the sets to the way the actors handle their business. From Russia With Love is that for Bond.

For me, it's the fun factor, which is 99% due to the villains stuntin for the entire movie. That's edges it for me.

Oddly, I still have yet to watch the Craig ones. I have them, but can never really sink into them.
