I cant speak on his Hong Kong stuff, I loved his holywood movies when I was a kid but now when I watch Broken Arrow, Face/Off, Mission Impossible 2, etc.

Definitely go with Rob Zombie...never enjoyed any of his movies at all; House of 1000 Corpses is the only watchable Rob Zombie movie, but its still garbage
