That is one of my fave Jay albums to be honest after RD. NWA's album is my fave from them, Dre blacked out on the production for that album!
I also said Gravediggaz in this thread and I agree on that and a few others in here that were called classics but got slept on.
Do Or Die Picture This I will add to the thread, definitely a SOLID release and my fave from them. Jeru The Damaja The Wrath Off The Math is also one of my faves that doesn't seem to get talked about as much as his debut but I liked it overall better.

Imo it defines what scale you grade it on. Fair or not, jay z albums are graded against jay z albums. By Jay’s standard——and by old school 5 mic standards——I think it’s a 4.5 not quite classic
But since the quality of albums has fell off a cliff, if you grade it by a more modern scale….
