LT. That year dude broke the record was some insane shyt. That was what pure skill-position talent looked like imo.

31 total touchdowns rushing and receiving through one season is ridiculous.
Then you realize he threw for 2 more.

That's more touchdowns than the New England Patriots had as a team last year on offense.

During his prime dude threw 8 passes, 7 went for TD's. The pass wasn't always pretty but for the most part it was right on the money.
I think dude may be the highest rated passer in NFL history, minimum of 10 throws.

Dude turned Darren Sproles and Michael Turner into back-ups as he was basically the every-down back, by a wide-margin.

Additionally, was elite at picking up blitzes and blocking for the QB. I really think that's a large reason why Rivers started to get clocked way more once he left.

Norv Turner was an idiot to turn to ruin that offense.

Reggie Brooks. He was like my favorite sports player at a point in my childhood. Likely because of the ND connection.

I was so confused to look back on his career as an adult to see he had a great rookie season and then legit never did anything else in the NFL.

Dude was the heart of San Fran for so many years. He really gave it his all through all the bad years and trash offensive lines we had. Dude could slide through the smallest gaps. I told my youngest son and the kids I coach to watch Frank play. He always ran with his body square, low center of gravity and he was an elite blocker at the position.

Yea his balance and vision was sooo elite. Dude could be at full stride as he hit the hole.. And the blocking is essential, can thank legendary high school coach Don Soldinger for that, after winning two states titles he went back to RB coach at UM and it was always a point of emphasis that you better learn how to block or you wont play. Thats why you see all them boys from that era were COMPLETE backs that will fukk you up if you tip toe (Edgerrin, Clinton, Gore, McGahee, Najeh, James Jackson)
