Grand Agent
Rasco & Grand Agent had that super ill joint album back in like what....1999...2000?

I was fukking with that and Kool Keith & Motion Man's "Masters of Illusion" back in 2000. Introduced to both via Bluetorch Tv (that long gone "extreme sports" tv show with Leann tweeden (sp?) And Logic Video Magazine.

Now that I'm headed down memory lane, I realize how many rappers and rap albums i became familiar with from watching MTV jams (when Yo! MtV raps was finished in 1995), Rap City, Transworld Skateboarding, Thrasher Magazine, Big Brother Magazine, 411VM, and random skate videos (when it was on VHS) like World industries' "Trilogy" and Rodney Mullen vs Daewon Song.

Like skate videos would go from like alternative/grunge from a band like Life Of Agony to Jeru Tha Damaja...

The 90s truly was dope.

Not a rapper, but DJ Krush should get more shine imo. This album was heat.

DJ Krush put out too much piff

The Art of Zen
Ki-Oku w/ Toshinori Hondo (one I still bang out regularly)

Hip hop just noticeably isnt on that same wave of exploration and experimentation anymore. MoWax & Ninja tune was keeping it alive in the late 90s to early 00s with The Herbaliser and Amon Tobin albums...and Big Dada with Roots Manuva's albums (Brand New Second Hand is classic).
