Name a good movie that barely people talk about

Like with every time this thread gets made people just saying random movies they like, even Oscar winners, that are sometimes classics.



The Film Room voted on the best non-english speaking film ever made and City of God smoked everybody. It got double the votes of 2nd place. People love this movie.

But it's still pretty much unknown outside of film circles.

Streets of Fire, Black Rain, Only the Strong and Crying Freeman

Black Rain is fire. I love the twist of the young cop, vet cop trope.

Stir Of Echoes is a personal favorite as far as horror movies go.

Unfairly overshadowed by The Sixth Sense, but the better movie. Kevin Bacon had a stretch of underrated gems.

Blown Away is good, but not underrated.
