I wonder why they're more prominent in Uruguay than Argentina. Proximity to Brazil?

A Chinese man at work told me he took a white friend to a Korean restaurant, and a Korean guy said he wasn’t safe there. I thought he was talking about the white friend. He meant the Korean man said he, the Chinese man wasn’t safe at the Korean place. I’d never heard of them being like that.

They're still powerful, but yeah if you've ever read up on Japan's history they may have been one of the most foulest nations. The "Nanjing Massacre." was just foul and they almost wiped out korea and other Asian countries on their warpath. There's a reason why most older people in Asian countries hate/fear the Japanese.

I met a Black dude from Uruguay at a La Copa America match years ago. The brother was Akon Black, but Spanish was his first language and he was draped in an Uruguayan flag.

Because Uruguay always had a small population. And the most Uruguayan thing, Candombe, is Black as fukk. And Uruguay kinda had Egalitarian visions from Independence. Uruguay's Black History is actually kinda remarkable. Uruguay were kinda trailblazers. Especially in Latin America.

There were more Africans in Argentina then Uruguay. Uruguay really was a stopover before they went to their main destination..

A good number off Black folks in Montevideo have Argentine roots(Black)
