I wonder why they're more prominent in Uruguay than Argentina. Proximity to Brazil?

Below is a map of South America. The closer you are to the equator the warmer the temperature is and vice versa.

Europeans enslaved millions of Africans, in part, in chattel slavery to work crops which require warm temperatures: sugar, indigo, cotton etc.

In summary, far less enslaved Africans went to Argentina because Argentina is colder than Uruguay. Also, Uruguay (as you noted) is proximate to Brazil.

Japan is pretty technologically advanced, and they’re considered the “top” Asians. Asians aren’t as unified as you’d think. A Chinese man at work told me he took a white friend to a Korean restaurant, and a Korean guy said he wasn’t safe there. I thought he was talking about the white friend. He meant the Korean man said he, the Chinese man wasn’t safe at the Korean place. I’d never heard of them being like that.

China and Japan have been having minor skirmishes over some ocean water..

North Korea and South Korea still aren’t united

There are Islamic extremist groups in the Philippines

Pol Pot murdered millions

Mongolia was close to conquering all of Asia and Europe

Asians and Europeans have been savages throughout the entire history of mankind :pachaha:

They're still powerful, but yeah if you've ever read up on Japan's history they may have been one of the most foulest nations. The "Nanjing Massacre." was just foul and they almost wiped out korea and other Asian countries on their warpath. There's a reason why most older people in Asian countries hate/fear the Japanese.

Yeah, their history with Korea is a deep and serious one.

Because Uruguay always had a small population. And the most Uruguayan thing, Candombe, is Black as fukk. And Uruguay kinda had Egalitarian visions from Independence. Uruguay's Black History is actually kinda remarkable. Uruguay were kinda trailblazers. Especially in Latin America.

There were more Africans in Argentina then Uruguay. Uruguay really was a stopover before they went to their main destination..

A good number off Black folks in Montevideo have Argentine roots(Black)
