People say "it's just a word" and then

Which is crazy to think that way.

We use words all the time that hold significant weight.

Like, telling a person you love them, a person you hate them, that holds weight to those words that bring mental/physical ramifications.

So saying it's just a word means you're too afraid to stand up for yourself.

Nobody is going to call me ****** and I'm going to shrug it off. That's bull shyt.

That's what we did all those years before, shrug it off. But that sure as hell didn't give less power to the word. Change only came when they started getting their ass chewed out/beat for it.

That is true. I remember a white boy said nikka while reciting a lil wayne song, around me and another white boy. He eventually apologized. But the next time i rode with the other white guy he would always play that song and sing it word for up until the word "nikka" in the song then he would stop. Like he was tryna get up the nerve. He never said it though. I didnt even think about that til now ...........muthafuca.
