Thankin god dat he already has his ring.
He saw Bron riding his coattails last season, looked at his ring and said let's see how he likes it
Thankin god dat he already has his ring.
As great of a player as Lebron is, his skillset is not that conducive to late game situations in close games.
For a guy who's gonna have the ball in his hands:
1. His J is not great and he has even less confidence in it in the clutch. Teams will simply play him to take the jumper, which he often takes.
2. His strength of bullying to the basket and finishing is taken away against good teams who can challenge at the basket, where refs are less inclined to blow the whistle late in games.
3. His strength of drawing fouls & getting to the freethrow line is offset by his lack of confidence in his own freethrow shooting and him not really wanting to be there in those situations.
4. Dude still does't have a great back to the basket game where you can feed him on the block and he can go to work. He's still not confortable in attacking defenses in that way.
You gotta surround him with shooters, but then people would complain that he has a team of players that can't contribute other than knocking down shots & Lebron has to do everything for them.
And that in a nutshell is the paradox of Lebron. The team that's best for him(defensive role players and knock down shooters who don't need the ball) will never win a title. Cosign the rest of the post
If the Heat is Lebron's team then they are not winning the championship this year.
Lebron needs someone to carry him over the top & that someone is Dwade. If Dwade doesn't do it...it won't be done.
give Bron Melo's Nuggets
Billups/Lawson
Afflalo/JR
Bron/Forbes
Kenyon/Al
Nene/Bird
and this conversation would be radically different.
wade to the clippers for jordan, mo williams, bledsoe and a pick
thats all you think Wade worth?
