Myths Used to Dismiss Black Women

The goal is to get blks to think critically about what is portrayed about us in the media. Because many of our race carry resentment from being rejected in grade school into adulthood, a lot of c00ns openly accept and use any lie to justify worshipping whites.
Welp, not anymore. Read and weep. People are just going to have to be honest about their preferences and c00nin.

1.) Black women have horrible attitudes. This stereotype has long stripped many black women of our humanity. Any normal emotional reaction we have to foolishness and fukkery is interpreted through the lens of this stereotype.
Meanwhile studies show that black women actually have more positive responses to stressors than focus groups in one study. Results ran contrary to popular cultural beliefs.
The scary part is that this stereotype is so pervasive that some blk women are taking on characteristics not of themselves. This won't change any c00ns mind. Many c00ns live and raised with men/women. Besides the study's author went in with a bias from the first sentence alone, talking about "stereotype of angry black women". The research was out to prove something.

And I walked inside to buy a gatoraid.

The clerk, who was Black and female, was not behind the counter.
She was doing something in one of aisles.

She saw me walk in.
She saw me grab a gatorade.
She saw me waiting at the register.......patiently waiting for her to come do her job.

We made eye contact.
She rolled her eyes.
I chuckled.
She made her way to the register.
No good morning. Just an ugly scowl on her face.

Me: "Good morning."
Her: "That'll be $1.65."


But, no. I don't believe in that bad attitude myth at all.

I know this topic is going to turn ignorant later with people adding ridiculous myths that are not really myths, but I'll add one.

Black women only like thugs. I hate when people say this. Only certain types of black women like thugs just like only other certain type of women like people who have negative personality characteristics. There are a lot of black women who go for men of good quality. I can understand someone saying that only young teenage black females like thugs, but only then is it understandable. It's still an exaggeration, but I could still understand what they mean, but it's cringe worthy when people try to say that all adult black women go for thugs. A lot of women who did desire thugs grow out of it eventually and desire a good quality person to be with.

I think people are searching in the wrong places as well instead of meeting black women who have similar interest and goals. It's not difficult to meet an educated black woman or a black woman who has similar desires. It may be difficult for certain types of people to meet a black woman who has some of the same interests, but it's still possible.
