I haven't even watched the video but a lot of you sound sheltered as fucc. If you've been apart of any club scene in a major city around the western world since the '70's that was pushing the limits of music then you've dealt with the gay/trans community to some degree...because those clubs were the only ones willing to play it half of the time.
Can't say I have noticed, which is a good thing because if there was a community of that kind in there they weren't acting extra.
