not a fair comparison. take the rappers out of both songs and the remix is still simply superior.

the way jay was hoppin on the remixes of jada features all goes back to that "is jay the smartest rapper?" thread. dude is a cold operator.

I was looking at how both songs performed on the billboard top 100 at the time and the one with Jayz didn't even chart but Jada's did...for a short while..

Both songs did ok on the R&b charts but it just goes to show how far hip-hop/R&B has come...we were still not fully loved by mainstream that both songs had little to no impact but them songs was No. 1's to us (the culture)....

The one with Jay wins cause its better and a memorable song...first line of the song and everyone in the room will rap it word for word...

Also Jayz was in his prime and at his most popular...plus the visuals didnt hurt....mya...mya..mya......stock of jersey dresses went up after that video...
