a price drop is never a good enough reason to buy a system. by that logic if you wait till the end of the generation you get all the best games at the lowest price possible. what's the price gonna go down like $100 or some shyt? i'm far from rich but $100 ain't shyt really. if i spend that $350 on a Wii U cause it had a game i wanted to play i'm never gonna look back and go damn i wish i had that extra $100 i spent on it.

Well according to the "scene" the Wii-u is just as easy to mod as the Wiiim waiting till a new metroid prime or zelda hits ..... or better yet when its able to be softmodded

Need for Speed: Most Wanted races onto Wii U on March 19 in North America, and March 21 in Europe.
EA says the Wii U version adds an asymmetric co-op mode called Co-op Driver, in which one player uses the GamePad to aid another using the WiiMote or Wii U Pro Controller. In Co-op Driver, the GamePad-using player has access to a real-time map, which can be used to distract cops, boost car performance, select day or night, and control traffic levels.
The GamePad will also supports off-screen play in other modes, or can be used by players to select cars, keep track of their records, and find stuff hidden across the city. EA also announced the game comes bundled with the Ultimate Speed Pack, which was released as DLC for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC last month.
its a hack that lets you play import games, takes off region lock ect. Acts like an emulator can play a bunch of games from NES-gamecube. Im not sure but i they might be cable to emulate some ps1/sega saturn games too. there are apps for it like an internet app that has flash player on it
also using an SD card you can use it as a movie and music player
so lets say you torrent a bunch of movies and put them on the card you can watch them using homebrew
Right now homebrew only works in "wii" mode so technicaly the Wii U is still not hacked. Also once you homebrew you lose warranty and can brick the console if nintendo finds a way to brick it with an update

right now im catching up on Wii games. wii u upgrades resolution output to 1080p. regular wii only has 480p( i never purchased wii) playing xenoblade chronicles right now (best game I played in years), got zeldy sky sword, super smash bro and last story on backlog
played demo for nba2k13(SUCKS!) and zombie wii u. zombie was fun and i can see how it could be scary playing alone at night but not at the top of my list. maybe in the future ill get it but too many games right now
Rayman legends demo is my shyt! 100x better than mario and the graphics are unbelieveable. I am definately getting this. I never really been a platform guy but supermario wii u and now rayman getting me back into it
