My theory of RB's not being dependable and not being top priorities has proven true so far

I had pick 5, I did some mocks at that spot and hated it too, when I came into the draft lobby and saw it I was so pissed:snoop:
I'm assuming ABDAGAWD, Julio, Odella and Hop were off the board...

If anyone of them were still on the board you fukked up breh...

After all the mocks I did I figured I had to gamble cause I knew my 2nd pick was going to miss the elite group:francis:
That's not a good gamble bruh...

Trusting a hype rookie with the 5th pick is crazy to me...Especially when a sure producer like Gurley is still on the board...

Taking RB's high is not the wave brehs. I won last year with Doug Martin, Latavius Murray and David Johnson. Johnson was a free agent and Martin and Murray were drafted after like round 4/5, there will always be super sleeprs in free agency you just need to time it right.

This year i picked up Eddie Lacy and Mark Ingram in round 3 and 4..never again would i use a high pick on a back its a complete waste

Yea, I agree Gurley was probably a safer pick but my grama could probably put up 800 yards behind that Dallas line:yeshrug:

That was my reasoning anyway:sadcam:

Picking 6th in my league (14 teams) this year, but it's a keeper league. ODB, David Johnson, Gurley and Nuke Hopkins are already being kept at later rounds, so it's going to throw the first round out of whack.

I'm keeping Mark Ingram at a 3rd round value already. Contemplating keeping Jeremy Langford in the 12th round and going Gronk/WR in rounds 1/2.

I think ppls idea of what a rb1 is really cloudy these days. I win my pool last yr and my rb1 was ivory. I grabbed Langford and david Johnson off waivers.

But the real key is, I only played rbs who wld get 15-20 touches a game and get goaline work. That's a true rb1.

Taking David Johnson early this yr I think is a huge mistake, with cj2k and Ellington there he's gonna lose touches and when there's a big blow out game and your hoping for those gravy 4th qtr run out clock yards. Cj2k or a kerwyn Williams gonna get touches to keep Johnson fresh.

Zek Elliot is even worse, Alfred Morris is gonna be a beast behind that line. He was solid in crummy wash, now in dall. When he gets a look he won't disappoint. Plus u still got dmc there. When u take any player early in draft, u want a hog. Sum1 who isn't gonna be fighting for looks or touches.

Forte late or Carlos Hyde, dion Lewis hurt now will be ready go full steam when Brady is back.

Jus my . 02 cents

Agree with what you say in the rest of your post, but you're underestimating Jerry Jones. Only thing keeping Zeke from being a 3-down back all season is his own health. Jerry's got a shiny new toy, and he's going to make sure Garrett puts him on full display given Zeke's price tag in the draft. Alf can't catch passes, which pretty much eliminates him from 3rd down conversation, so at worst Zeke will split 3rd down touches with DMC.
