I will be completely honest. At this point in the game it makes little to no sense for me to date with no purpose. I sometimes tell women.. there is no real purpose for a man to date these days..unless he REALLY likes you.
We dont have to date for sex. Sex can be had anywhere. So when i was looking at her i was looking long term. The autistic kid is a lot. A whole lot. When i date i am all in. Her kid would be part of that equation. Me being perfectly honest... that was most of my decision.

Hell nah its not common. She hood but a good type of hood... Like she knows how to play the game but she from the mud... Same place im from but my parents were smart enough to give me a name wgere i can pretty much blend in anywhereAs much of yall know. I am a transplant to florida. Grew up in the northeast. Piffsburgh to be exact.
When i moved down south as a adult of course there was some differences. Much of them i documented in various stories. They usually involved me somehow getting sonned in hilarious ways
Well i ran into something i never ran into and wanted to run it by my southern brehs and brettas.
Met this girl. She is around my age. Has no kids which is fukking rare.is a Lpn. Owns her own home..etc. Parents are still together.. all in all a nice girl.
Couple of red flags:
1. She has a tendancy to say "Look" in every convo. Its actually annoying. For example. She will say " so i was at work and..LOOK. that chick tried me....
Or. I was at the cookout and those greens!! LOOK. .Those greens were so juicy.
Not a deal breaker. But she says Look on EVERY sentence. Its strange.
2. She has no children herself. But adopted a autistic child. I commend her for being willing to step up and be a mom. But i can see why she is single. Her daughter is non verbal and pretty combative. She consumes her life. Cant see where a guy would fit in honestly.plus.... its ALOT.
3. This is the real reason i started this thread..we got to talking about middle names. I told her that i did not have one until i was 11. Asked my mom about my middle name. She said what do u want it to be? Told her i wanted it to be my best brehs name. Poof. Moms went downtown and got it changed.
Her middle name she told is Lil Trina. I was
Oh. You mean Katrina? Ok. . She said naw. Lil Trina.. then she spelled it out.
I said...Lil? Like Lil Wayne?? And who is Big Trina? If you are Little... there is no Big Trina. Her middle name is not Katrina. Its Lil Trina.
I am like hold up hold up. So. On your birth certificate. It says Lil Trina?
By now she is acting all stank cause everytime i say the name i am lauging. I think she is fukking with me!
She then says ita common down south for people to have their actual names have a "Lil" in front of them. I have NEVER heard of that outside of rappers. What say yall?

But she just hood. But shes the type to come up respectfully in society while doing hood shyt in private.
So when she say "look" she just talking to you like you the same nikka that grew up in south baton rouge or hood florida. Nothing to be concered about. Not really red flags.. A red flag would be a baby daddy in jail, thot tats, dodging responsibility, etc

Yeah. I had to just be honest with myself. She is a saint for taking on that child. I just am not ready for all of that.
She will have to take care of her daughter for the rest of her life...she is 13. Non verbal. Combative at times. Thats alot for a breh to consider.
