On ep 7 of season 1....please tell me in which season this becomes GOATness...seasons 1 has struggled to keep my attention and I'm not seeing how/why Tony Soprano is considered a GOAT character. I know, keep watching...,plus the number of accolades for this show and WOM praise, I know it has to get better, but season 1 is wack as shyt.

One thing, i never knew where Nas got "got yourself a gun"


I will keep posting as my feelings change

if you aren't enjoying season 1 you might as well just stop now. if the show were really for you, you would already be hooked.

obviously it just isn't clicking with you, which is cool... but nothing is gonna change in the later seasons.

yeah thats usually how it works with tv shows. i tried watching sons of anarchy but couldnt get past episode 3

depends on the show i think. some take longer to get going than others.

but sopranos i think is perfection from the start.

ill wait for more opinions about whether season 1 is the best....but nah, I'm no where near hooked. The wire, FNL, and bb all had me hooked by now

eh, it is what it is then. like i said you might as well stop watching then. nothing is gonna change. if anything by the time season 3 rolls around the show moves a lot slower and becomes far more character driven. so if you aren't taking to it NOW when the plot is heavy... you're definitely gonna tap out during the later seasons.

Ehh.....if anything, I'm watching this as it's mentioned in the canon of goat shows, not for my entertainment per se. I actually feel this season isn't plot heavy and I tend to like shows with interesting character development, so it might become more interesting to me.

Haven't watched it in a while but i remember seasons 4 & 5 being my favorites due to the introductions of the New Jersey family. Don't really remember 3

Thats not true, in season 1 Tony didn't even have full control yet and was having issues with his uncle. It gets better as his status grows IMO
