Your son seems to take an extra step forward when throwing the jab. I'm not sure if that because of the mat. He's taller and doesn't need to. He also drops his right after he throws it. I'm not even going to talk about leaving his chin open. He's lucky that the other cat seemed reluctant to throw.
You need to run drills for keeping his hands up and jabbing.
And for safety reasons, please get some headgear and gumshields.
