And if he does get past it, he know what time it is

I dont know which one is ur son...
And I hate being the mister critical dude on here...
But this my area of expertise brother.

They shouldn't... SHOULD NOT be doing any of that without head gear and mouth piece.

The sport already is hard on the head and body when u actually know what ur doing.

Also, is that ur house. That's cool. Either try to section off some of that area for sparring.
Or just pick a sparring day and take the kids to a gym with a ring.

When I have kids sparring...
I really just want them to

1) Get use to seeing punches thrown at them

2) work on the most important things that we been teaching

3) take a couple of licks to see that it ain't so bad.

So 1st... dont just let them go in there swinging.

Let them do rounds where they just throwing jabs (which is the most important punch)

That's the chest match.
They have to figure out the right distance to start at, how to faint, and how to work the jab in there.

Also, they'll learn defense that way too, without taking too much punishment

U got them in at a good age tho
