Dallas, Texas but living in Houston, Texas
Two years ago a sister I served in the military with got me involved with 5linx. I paid the initial little fee to start up but then I realized It was bs so I cancelled. She got mad at me because I quit. I had a feeling it was BS but I trusted her since she was a friend and she claimed her husband had been doing in since 2009 and was making money.

Of course she's mad!
With you quitting, she gets no residual income off of you!

the same girl at my job (one of the assistants) who was always pushing those IT Works body wraps is off that. now she pushing Iaso tea. fronting on the gram like she makes six figures from home.

every time I run into at work :russ:

this girl is so delusional, it's kind of sad

Maaaaan....I went to church with two of these type crooks.

Always flossing with the latest car/house/jewelry/suit/hat/etc...showing off like they're rich. Had a BUNCH of folk fooled too...but not me.
Coming from NY I can see ghettofabulous from a mile away....they ain't foolin me.
Anyway, they were always hustling in the church and outside the church...never spend time with their family or wives because they always out hustling.
Always had some MLM scheme going...pulling people in the church into their scam...promising riches and cars and houses.
Then when the bottom fell out and everyone lost their invested money...the people involved would get pissed and leave...(rightly so!)
And of course, the two scammers would come right back a few weeks later with the next scheme....and sucker more people.
:beli:

The church even bailed them out of going to jail the first time they scammed everyone. Seriously, the damn feds were after them and looking to prosecute if they didn't pay back what they took. Stupid church took a serious L bailing them fools out.
But yeah...That shyt went on for years and the pastor never did anything about it. Made me wonder if he was involved too...

But membership got so low from people leaving due to getting ripped off and other mess...the church had to close down.
:manny:
Oh well...doing nothing is the same as agreeing to the mess.
If I was the leader, I don't care if they were tithing members...I'd have tossed them negroes out on their asses trying to push those scams up in my church.

it seems they always target the church going black folk. I guess some of them are easy marks and very trusting.

I just hate when scammers take advantage of other people's lack of intelligence and laziness. To think you can make 6 figures from sitting around at home is dumb and a lazy way to view how life works.

The girl at my job is always promising an easy way out of your financial responsibilities. most people would automatically dismiss a claim like that, but it's the ones who bite on the "opportunity" are the ones I can do nothing but laugh at. Cause you can't really talk logically to them at that point. Their money & hope is already in it, they just want to believe.

Well, when you think about it....black folk are always the ones that wanna floss with diamonds and cars and houses and fly clothes and shyt...but never want to do the work to get those things. So these scammers see that, know that, and act appropriately.

I halfway can't blame em for taking out easy marks...
