J.Crawford, P.Pierce, and Reddikk,2021 pick for Melo. Reddikk is on the last year of his deal and the other two will likely retire before the end of their respective deals. Plus the Clips will likely be trash by the time 2021 rolls around.

KP got tired from being the defensive Anchor, once he sat out the defense sputtered and even though he is back he's not at 100%. plus Rose has been too ball dominant in his quest to earn another Max contract. Melo has been Melo but not as consistently.

I was about to reiterate how NY would not trade with a divisional rival but this would actually be VERY intriguing for all parties.

I'd be with it. I' love to see Kevin Love on the Celtics...it just makes sense. lol

And to see Melo and Lebron play, together, for the first time.


And to enter a true period of rebuilding after this season became a wash would be absolutely great for every type of Knick fan, honestly.

I'm hoping for this.

They wouldn't move him for a far superior player... let alone a far inferior player like Melo, Love at this stage is better than Melo at every facet of the game

i didn't know we couldn't do hypothetical trades

Anyhow Melo is putting up 6/3/24 and has been 5/5/22 in the losing streak. Cavs are not downgrading with that trade especially with Melo at the 4

Yeah that's not arguable either. No sense in moving a guy who does everything well for someone who thinks shooting as much as possible is productive.

yes they are
love is putting up almost the same amount of points...on much fewer shots...and more boards. assists dont mean anything considering lebron has the ball.
kevin love is a better player than melo right now and even if he isnt...he's a superior fit for lebrons game.
there is no logical reason why the cavs would trade love for melo...after winning a ring and playing well this year.

It's going to take a third team to get him to LA, someone on the door of the playoffs that thinks a package from the Clippers can help them that also has young players and picks. Like the Kings, but I don't know how much yall like WCS & Ben McLemore, cause I'm pretty sure they'd do something like this -
