He should make 6th man money, I think he'd be a hell of a sixth man where he could just go full blown attack mode instead of facilitating. 20 million is way too much for that. Also, I don't think the Knicks bring him back after this incident, even if they were really considering it beforehand. I think it was Woj who mentioned that this was a nail in the coffin and that's one of the rare guys who usually has decent sources and not just made up ones.

We got to try and pull a rape trade with Melo like the Celtics pulled on Boston..... Like for real...... They got the top pick, a shyt ton of cap space, and arguably the second best team in the East...... We got to hope Phil can convince Melo to leave so they can get something back this offseason.

They're not an ideal trading partner because of how they deal. Last season they got called out for trying to low ball everybody and if they're gonna offer a real package for a SF, I'd imagine Jimmy Butler gets first crack. LA or the Cavs would be the only two teams I see Melo waiving his clause...my "hey it might work out" team would be Washington but I haven't looked at salaries and it's mainly wishful thinking.

This is the first time I've turned on Melo. I was in my 2nd year at Syracuse when he brought us a ring, and have defended him ever since. Even when it was obvious what he was all about, I defended him. Now I'm on full fukk Melo mode. This shyt is just insulting

Well damn breh, I've wanted Melo traded for a couple years now, but it's not because he's a bum, it's because the team can't put immediate talent around him and the NBA has made it increasingly hard to do so over the past few years. He's a good player and was a pretty damn fantastic player in his prime, it's just that things never managed to line up over here when he was in his prime.
