The brightside of this game is that these young cats forced the Pacers to play the starters. We're watching three rookies, a sophomore and Jennings play against a playoff team's starting line-up which is cool. Especially because Ron Baker is playing well again.

I have no idea why KP played the entire 4th quarter when they were barely involving him on offense. I mean KOQ would have set better screens for Jennings's 1 on 1 ball.

Man that was a project to watch and I was just waiting the youngsters to get burn. We KNOW what this team looks like on the second night of a back to back, Hornacek KNOWS and he even said so recently...but lo and behold, same players trotted out there after a hard fought win the night before to completely flounder. Luckily, we did get that look at the youth though. Baker was defending some real ones, Monta Ellis is no joke. Kuz wound up matched with Paul George for a bit. Willy is a real prospect too, the three pointers in desperation were bad though. But either way, I don't see why these cats shouldn't get burn. Baker is the only PG (loosely used term) that plays aggressive defense, Kuz is a pure scorer on a team that goes through lulls and Willy is a real prospect that needs reps. If tanking means getting those boys into the rotation, sign me up.

Wally claiming Ron Baker looks a lot better when he can pass to Melo...Ron Baker just had a +12 with Jennings, Kuz, KP and Willy.

i feel like baker should come off the bench in the first half...if one of our first two guards off the bench comes out slow...or lacks defensive intensity bring baker in...
he's showed he can play with another point guard.
he just makes the correct play or attempts to more often than not.

Call me crazy but I'm getting some weird deja vu w/ Baker...

I sense a major Melo shut down by the end of next week.

Causing a drastic shift in the rotation and a trade of Oquinn and Lance...

I then see Baker breaking into the rotation and being a very scrappy fan favorite a la J. Lin.

At this point, I'd want nothing more than seeing Willy, Kuz and Baker getting 9-12 solid minutes in the first half.
