I was listening to The Ringer NBA podcast and the guest (Tim Bontemps i think) was ranting and raving about the timberwolves and how they'll be better this year cause they'll actually have a bench with the additions of Brandon Rush and Cole Aldrich. The host let that shyt pass, until they started talking about the Knicks and he said they have no bench outside of Jennings. The host (who is a grizzlies fan) went off on dude. They actually got a bit heated for a few minutes.

I guess my thought process is more toward the people saying if Rose doesn't work out, we could go for Chris Paul at the end o this season.
And my response is: If Rose doesn't work out and this team fails, then to me, it is is painfully obvious that you have to turn to the draft for answers, not passed-their-prime aging free agents.

I feel you there, I'm a CP3 stan and I'm still looking at this PG class as a can't miss opportunity. I'd probably have my eyes on Blake Griffin or Gordon Heyward if I was considering a max player to stack the roster. Add a young star Forward and worry about the logjam at the position later (because in that scenario I'm probably looking to combine some of our youth with Joakim Noah to make space for a Blake/KP tandem for the next decade).
