There are differences between Melo's struggles now and KP's a couple games ago. KP's shots at least came in the flow of the offense. And when he was off, he was protecting the rim and rebounding.
Melo's shots are coming off ball stopping isolation plays with a defender bodying him up. They aren't in the flow of the offense. It looks like the Mike Woodson days.
And why are you comparing a second players struggles to those of an established, future Hall of Famer?

Ima need u to be biased across the board. melo is the leader of the team and shooting us out of games. If his shot ain't hitting then start deferring! Their is other ways he can help us. KP can get criticized too... he been playing kinda soft but shyt this is his second year so you gotta give him leeway.Anyway our team defense is atrocious. We let teams score 100+ every game. If we can't fix that even a little bit then we aren't going very far.
