For some reason I sensed this kinda effort before the jump ball. :martin:
They clearly expected to win this game. Problem is the Heat aint gonna lay down and give it to them.
Good thing is I never like to see NY with a big first half lead. They can't sustain those. They play better from behind in the 2nd half.

KP's gotta be able to get deeper position when he's being guarded by a man who's that much smaller than him.

Something I'll say about this... when you are THAT tall, and that thin. And your center of gravity is SO high. It is hard to just body somebody and get deeper position, even a "smaller" guy. You open yourself up to offensive fouls, and you have to get SO low to do it, that you start working AGAINST your skillset a little.

I would still like to see him catch it deeper/closer to the rim, work from 8-12 feet, rather than 15+ against a regular ass wing... but there are a couple of reasons for the struggle.

Big 3 by melo right there as I'm typing.

I'm actually more worried about tomorrow night, against the Cavs, second of a back to back. That's a prime spot to get washed on national TV if you come out slow, against a good team that has been struggling, and needs to show out.
