Rose MELO PNR was successful. Do you watch the games or do you just skim thru it

A handful of those times, those plays resulted in some nice drives to the rim by Rose. Other times it led Rose to take some wild drives to the rim and Melo taking stupid iso shots. It works better with Porzingis as the roll/pop man and Melo sitting in the corner as a spot-up shooter. either way. :umad:.

No, you got to stop being so defensive. Porzingis had the hot hand throughout the entire night and he had like 1-2 touches for the last 6 minutes of the game. Meanwhile, Melo shot 2-9 in the third quarter and 0-3 in the fourth quarter. Terrible lack of recognition. Lucky the Knicks came out with the W in both of those games.

It's not being divisive to point out that Rose and Melo were jacking up bad shots and looking off of KP even when he was open, it's more like constructive criticism. People gotta pick their spots better.

It's almost like you nigggas want KP to fail. He's a second year player. Please just let it happen naturally. I'm begging y'all. It's gonna be so annoying watching him get the team prematurely and you nikkas throwing him under the bus for not delivering. He's surrounded by 2 high caliber veterans. A former MVP and a former scoring champ. Both who have shown this season that they are still very capable. Y'all worried about who get what shot and I'm worried about not hindering his development and building team chemistry. It's like once one thing gets knocked down (roster issues) the next is y'all wanna pick and choose who gets what and all that other bullshyt. Enjoy the ride. This team isn't winning a chip this year. Let KP develop naturally. He's the future. The future is soon, but it's not now. He's coming around, but let him show some consistency. Some of you really need to stop with the regurgitated media talking points. It's sickening, especially for someone who's done and does journalistic work. Trying to push MELO out of town is predictable and all it'll do RIGHT NOW, is ruin KP in the process.
He has an opportunity to learn. And he's learning, as he says time and time again. MELO makes the game easier for him. They won't double him for that reason. Stop rushing him. We got the win.

If y'all thought watching MELO being loaded up on by the defense with no one to kick out to was bad, it'll be even worse with KP because that'll slow his development in a big way.

MELO was a proven player when he dealt with that bullsht for multiple seasons.

It would be Hell for KP

Rewatch the game. They didn't Use the 1-3 PNR too many times. About 5 in total, and More than half of those ends with good shots. Some dropped some didn't. Think for yourself.

Saying Melo should pass the ball when his shot is off isn't me trying to run him out of town, or saying he doesn't "have it" anymore, you're being hyperbolic right now. He had a couple of bad iso's down the stretch where he should've kicked the ball out, he had defenders shading towards him and it could've led to an easy basket for someone else. Same thing with Rose, he had KP open coming off a screen a few times and didn't even look in his direction. One play was really bad, KP's man switched off of Rose and he was open for a good couple of seconds, then Lillard switched back on to KP, and KP went to try and post him up, but Rose didn't even look in his direction.

This isn't some KP vs everybody else type of thing, KP had the hot hand and was open quite a bit down the stretch, there wasn't no need to force feed him. If KP was 7/21 or something then it'd be a different story, then I could understand Melo or Rose trying to press a bit. Or if KP was jacking up shots and Melo had the hot hand, then I'd be complaining about KP not passing enough, because in the end it's about making the right play, not who takes what shot. Tonight was a close win, and even though those plays didn't come back to bite the Knicks in the ass, those type of possessions could easily be the cause of a loss next game. So all I'm saying is the players need to pick their spots better.

Marbury speaks on D gawd ..

Starbury :mjcry:

He's always rocked with Rose. Check some of his earlier tweets. I always said Rose's game, especially his ability to get to the basket was just like Marbury's , which is why I became a huge Rose fan in the first place. 16 games into the season, and we starting to look like a real team. I told people it was going to take 20-25 games to see what this team really looked like.

5 straight home wins, and back at .500. Knicks gave us a Thanksgiving plate early.

For those of us who missed the clip

:mjcry:

Rose headed to Carmelo's for Thanksgiving: With his family in Chicago, Derrick Rose plans to head to Carmelo Anthony's for Thanksgiving.

"My mom and everybody, my son, will be back in Chicago. So yeah, I'm thankful I have somewhere to go," Rose said of heading to Anthony's for the holiday.

"I just asked where his family's (going) and asked if it was cool if I came over. He said yeah so I don't think I have to bring anything but an appetite. Yeah, that's the only thing I have to bring right now."

A little bit of :mjcry: & :pachaha:reaction to that quote.
