There's also this dude although both choices might be a little too forward thinking for this franchise considering how young they are. I would take a shot at either of them.

Finding Mr. Wright | San Antonio Spurs

But I don't know if Dolan wants to be accused of copying the Nets and pick a Spurs exec.
Troy Weaver is due a shot. I am not impressed by Griffin.. isnt he the guy who drafted anthony bennett?

You realize Masai Ujiri has been around a while right?

Around the league in scouting positions since 2002 and an executive GM since 2010. Still an infant. Also keep in mind his signature move is fleecing a desperate James Dolan twice. Dolan. Now had he robbed Ainge or RC Buford, I'd feel more confident in his track record.

I understand where you're coming from but I don't know if it's that deep.

These owners see green. I DO ADMIT that, with these athletes, they see cattle.

I don't know. I've seen pretty good indicators, especially in the NFL, that it might BE that deep.

Masai is respected around the league.

I'm never against a brother getting a job. I just feel an Ujiri Knick presidency would be Obama-esque. Obstruction at every turn. But that won't keep fans from turning on him.

The media hated Phil and Masai is much more well liked around the league then Phil.

If anything Masais reputation is larger then his accomplishments

He's built a playoff treadmill team yet is treated like hes Jerry West.

Who treats Masai Ujiri like Jerry West?

But I agree his rep is larger than his accomplishments. If he's hired I want him to succeed. I wanted Phil to succeed. I think Phil was just looking for a payday in hindsight.
His next book might be off the chain

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Griffin is getting a lot of burn. I just saw a report saying that we aren't going to pursue Ujiri, probably due to how much it would cost us in compensation. I imagine the same would be said of Presti. Besides Griffin, what are some other names we should be looking for?

I'd go after Troy Weaver of the Thunder, he's their VP and Assistant GM.

Bruh, you wanna upend our youth movement for a bunch of players on the back end of their careers in hopes of what? They won't beat the warriors or the other up and coming young teams in the east, you'd destroy our ship that's finally looking like it headed in the right direction and push it back another decade the latest. Why?

HAHAHAHAHA, cats are really losing their minds. If Bron & crew want to team up, NOBODY in their right mind is turning him down. Cats really getting hard ons for a "youth movement" because they see the Bucks & Sixers. It's not a guarantee that the Warriors win the championship the next few years like people are predicting. Luck & injuries play a role, and you NEVER know what happens *knocks on wood*.
