Sources say Mavs and Timberwolves discussed swapping Wesley Matthews and the No. 9 pick for Ricky Rubio and No. 7. However, a source described those talks as "dead" at this point. Dallas does not feel urgency to move up from No. 9.

This could pick back up tomorrow night

:lupe:

Also I don't think that would of been the end all of the trade Rubio arguably is a better deal than Matthews and the wolves were giving up the better pick. Something else had to be going to the wolves.

Said that #7 was up for grabs and likely will be until the very last minutes.

Looking like #5 and/or 10 are a possibility to be moved as well. If #5 goes, it will be interesting to see what happens to DSJ and Jackson. I personally see Jackson falling to 5 no matter who owns it but that's just my gut

Phil says
- He's hoping for a starter. With so many young players preached patience
- Admits they're getting calls for KP
- Exit meeting made shyt hot
- KP was the first player he's had to miss an exit meeting
- They will do what's best for the club, even a trade
- Confident KP will be back
- Praised Melo acknowledges they haven't done well
- Wants Melo to look at other options because Knicks aren't in win now mold
- No answer on Derrick Rose
- Says its been extremely hard to choose in this draft
- Says 1-3 they lack talent, strong at 4-5

Still seems mad about the exit interview, Phil has his issues but Porzingis being a hoe. Seems like there is more with that.

Basically, KP was the first player to ever skip an exit meeting in his years in the NBA. Him and KP have been close and had a good relationship so he doesn't understand why he would do this. Even if you're mad, the exit interview means expressing the direction of the club.

He said he reached out and nothing from KP. Seems like he doesn't fukk with KP's brother at all and questions the advice they're giving him.

Once he skipped the meeting, teams started coming to them with deals but nothing met their desired haul. He got asked if he was definitely on the block and he said he listens to offers but he hopes KP is here.
