I'm hoping it's eitherWhen Phil picks nobody ya'll been scouting for
Or Frank Ntilikina.
Both of which in our range, apparently.

that can be worked on...his shooting mechanics arent bad at all ...he isnt that much of a playmaker either....but no one predicted westbrook to develop the way he hadHis lack of 3 point shooting is a real sore spot
He isn't as fast as Wall, but he is fast and athletic. More importantly? He doesnt turn the ball over nearly as much and has shown so far is able to play under control so early. He's not as fast as Wall and even more troubling is that he's shooting worse from 3 than Wall. I don't think he goes top 3, I think teams will favor Ball over him because of the shooting, and Jackson is a wing who could legitimately go 1.

i just want some athletic, high motor, smart players
we probably gonna get the 8th pick on some bullshyt and draft someone that will be a best

The shooting will have to be addressed, but maybe that can improve over time. This isn't a Rajon Rondo situation.

I don't know if I'd be willing to take a risk on a dude that is allergic to taking threes like that, it would be different if he were a wing player or 6'6", then yeah you take those and hope they can learn to shoot because they have their size to fall back on and a lot of their shooting is catch & shoot. Whereas with a lead guard, he's gonna have to take tough shots off the dribble and if he can't learn it's just a situation with where the league is now.
He's a good athlete, but he's not on that Westbrook/Wall tier, their speed at their size is what makes them what they are.
I think he'll be good, but I don't know if the Knicks can afford to take that risk, especially not with the amount of pressure that would be on him.
Non-shooting PGs today is really a crapshoot, look at Elfrid Payton.
Rumors from Begley is the knicks are looking at Monk and Ntilkina so I wouldn't be surprised if Phil feels the same way...... shyt even more cause every guard has to be able to shoot the 3 in the damn Tryangle.
Westbrook had an excuse. He wasn't the lead guard at UCLA. Collison was. Fox doesn't have that fallback.that can be worked on...his shooting mechanics arent bad at all ...he isnt that much of a playmaker either....but no one predicted westbrook to develop the way he had

i pray to god...theres some sort of term to void his contract cause of this
please...there needs to be an out somewhere
If the knicks are fourth with Ball and the other 2 gone who should the knicks gamble on if they land 4th? Thats the problem. We need someone to feed KP and Willie.I don't know if I'd be willing to take a risk on a dude that is allergic to taking threes like that, it would be different if he were a wing player or 6'6", then yeah you take those and hope they can learn to shoot because they have their size to fall back on and a lot of their shooting is catch & shoot.
