All of a sudden Lance wants to start playing well and Rose's mid range jumper becomes one of the best offensive weapons on any given night...wtf.

The silver lining is these young bucks though. Willy is fun to watch, KP was sloppy on the handles and got hurt but his vision and passing the past few games has been promising and this dude Ron Baker had some nice passes himself along with getting in Stuckey's head without ever looking flustered. I wish the Knicks would just shut down the older guys, especially Melo and Rose, to just let the young cats go through the struggles but develop better habits.

Edit: Someone at realgm grabbed the averages for Willy when he plays over 20 mins...walking double double as a rookie. Had he gotten more burn earlier, he'd be in the RoY argument.
Willy's numbers when given more than 20 minutes:

11.1 ppg
10.5 rpg
2.0 apg
0.9 bpg
1.0 spg
2.0 topg
53.7% FG
68.3% FT

I'll never understand how Melo is so awful around the rim.

This is the main reason Melos shooting percentage isn't high. Dude needs to seriously practice finishing at the rim. He needs to add a floater badly

Watching what Vince Carter is doing this late in his career is why I don't want to give up on Melo. I just wish he'd transition his game into 2nd/3rd option Melo and really focus on helping the team.

In his defense, i think he's capable of doing that when the situation calls for it. He tried to be that Melo this season even, and still took heat for the team losing. it's like he said fukk it and just went back to his old ways, "if I'm gonna get all the blame, I might as well get it playing my way." He did the same shyt when dantoni was here. If we had a better team and we were winning in january, I truly believe "all-around Melo" would still be here.

Nah it's time to move on. We need to rebuild and get younger.Melo will be long gone before we're any good again

Melo isn't a facilitator his game is tunnel vision scoring. The only role I wanted to maybe see him take at one time was instant offense guy off the bench he'd be a great 6th man but his ego couldn't handle that

The Melo ships sailed time to move on

I was just piggybacking off the article that was posted and basically just stated what I saw when I watch games. Can't argue with the metrics and eye tests breh.

My point was: You can argue with metrics, because by the very definition they are attempts to measure something that is not quantifiable.

And you appear to be an idiot, so I don't care about your eye test.

Rose doesn't rotate, never closes out, can't stop dribble penetration, doesn't contest, and never sees a screen coming. He's an awful defender, and routinely gets lit up by the worst guards in the L.

Thanks for playing, breh.

Nah it's over. That's not to say he couldn't be rejuvenated, but it's not gonna happen here. He should have been gone three years ago, and he should be gone now. If he wanted to defend, and commit, he'd have done it. You gotta just accept he is who he is at some point, and the Knicks' culture is not going to be what changes him.

I said he wasn't a good defender so I'm not sure what you're bothered about. I just said he's not as bad as everyone thinks he is. :yeshrug:

Raleigh by way of Crooklyn
the psychological warfare that would go on between and lavar and phil would be able to have a book written about it :mjlol:

Niigga.... :ohlawd:

You have no idea how much I would love to be in the same room with Lavar and Phil.... Lavar talking that street noise and Phil coming at him on his Zen steez.... One of them niiggas would be coming out the room looking like :merchant:
