Literally no benefit to being in these kinds of environments to educate them, not even paid right. But kudos to you.

it depends on the area and student demographic…the last school I worked at was in a lower middle class/middle class area…it was a good environment for me although not perfect…the school I worked at before tho was depressing…poverty and hopelessness like I’d never seen…many of those kids (even the brightest ones) literally didn’t have much of a chance :francis:

With a family of principals and pals in education in some of these very areas rapped about, I try to be gentle. But yeah, nah- was asked and did fine with third graders, declined.
