real estate people are trying to re-brand the South Bronx as "SoBro"...when i heard about that i was like

i was down there last year to see family and it was still all black and brown.

I have to agree. There's really no response to this. All those people in a building renting for 2 to 3 decades is crazy. If they at least owned then there could have been a buy out of some sort.

You're all on point it's a different city than what I grew up in late 80's-90's early 00's even. I'm in Crown Heights and it's still Caribbean and Jewish there's some whites but few and far between and there up by Franklin. I don't think you'll see any cacs below Nostrand except Jews.
Most of the home owners I know around here are black as well. A lot of Crown Heights black professionals.



I think people will continue to get pushed out to long island, queens, east ny..

I can't imagine hipsters pushing out that far especially since there are no trains.
