@ogc163 if you had to choose between living in Washington Heights, and say some neighborhood in the West Bronx where would you choose and why?

The Heights. Younger, relatively safer (unless you are looking at a specific neighborhood), more access to amenities, much more upside if the plan is investment and not simply rental. Off the top of my head I can't think of any West Bronx neighborhood I would choose over the Heights.

Thanks. Just looking into a two bed co-op in a prewar most likely. I have a job I'll be doing around Morris Heights/Fordham Heights for a few years and won't want to commute back to Brooklyn all the time. I haven't seen anything to architecturally stimulating around mh/fh so far worth buying though. I'll probably need to drive around to get a better picture of the area though.

Things I'd like to have are decently planned streets/architecture, subway access, parks, parking: street or private, non hood bars, restaurants. If I check a few off I'm happy.

this got moved to theroot

:laff:

:what:

This is some highly unsavory ass shiit. This is a great thread about development in NYC.....just cause it has black people in the title doesn't mean it should be relegated here.....that's not a diss to The Root. This is a thread for TLR.

Mods move this back to TLR, this thread has doing just fine there, por favor :beli:
