iight i just signed off on this lease with my aunt for a 4 bedroom home for me, my mother and 2 older brothers to stay in feb '12. only me and my oldest brother are currently working at the time. my mom takes classes online and also takes classes at the community college nearby. the other older brother was not employed at the time. my oldest brother agreed to pay the majority of the rent (700) while i take care of the rest (450) plus electricity and cable. to go back a lil earlier me and my mom had already checked the spot out and she loved it, wanted to move into it right away. me and my older brother at the time was splitting rent/bills in an apartment. well new mgmt took over and was hassling a nikka bout gettin on the lease (my bro signed solo) so they force me to pay $40 to process a lease application and then deny my ass, say i gotta move. bro was ready to move anyway so he was like cool but here's the tricky part he didn't know me and t-jones had already went and scoped out a house and i assume he planned on just moving into another apartment. not even a month into the new house i'm already regretting the decision. mind you i was on my shyt at this time. working minimum 10 hours OT a week, income tax coming in. i decide to pull my credit report to see where i'm at and notice a $20,000 student loan on my shyt. what the fukk??

now it all makes sense. or it doesn't at all cuz i quit school in 2006 after my mom was incarcerated. she did 2 years from about 05-07, got out and started working at a call center downtown. Pay wasn't that great and she had to catch the bus early in the morning to get there but she did seem happy at least having a job after what she had been thru. She raised me and my brothers off a home-made insurance business that really was nothing more than insurance fraud. She no longer could afford the huge house we were staying in back then and we had to move in with my Aunt my Sr year in High School. After I graduated HS I had no plans but she enrolled me at a community college close by and before I knew it we were moving into a 3 bedroom house next door to my Aunt. Strange?

indeed considering that she was broke financially. At least I thought. How was she paying rent in this house? Electricity, Cable, Water, Phone? Surely not by help of me as I worked at UPS for maybe a day and quit. At the time I didn't really know what I wanted to do in life, I just went to class since she wanted me to and came home. She finally told me 2/14/2005 when I came home from class one day that she would be going to jail in a few weeks. The fukk? Me, my brother and Uncle was moving that shyt outta that house before I knew it. I stayed going to school for a little bit while now living in a 2 bedroom apartment with the oldest brother but after my Mama got locked up I couldn't focus. I didn't know what was what. I didn't know why she was gone and she wouldn't tell me what got her in there in her letters to me. I only knew that she did something illegal regarding Insurance. I eventually quit school and started working at Pizza Hut. That lasted a couple months then I was able to get a much better paying job at Roadway Express thanks to my Dad's brother. I was making $16 at 19-20 years old. shyt felt great but I was young and dumb and ended up fukking the job off, just left my truck unattended one night and my supervisor found out and canned my ass. Atleast she was about to get out..

I know what your going through more than anybody on this board probably. The first thing you got to do is cut as many expenses as you can. Do not worry about trivial shyt you just maintain the necessities. Another thing don't t waste time feeling sorry for yourself, that can lead to depression,. Dont worry about what you cant change focus on what you can change. In between the job searches and the waiting find a way to be productive. Hit the weights, go outside, definitely go outside. Dont let this shyt hold you down, you can make it. One day at a time and remember your never gonna have to deal with more than you can deal with.
