I already have read the link.
It references times after the captives left captivity and started to defend their captor and it was still classified as Stockholm Syndrome
So go argue with Britannica about it.
Here is another link to proof:

They even mention the words "after they were released" to show that they showeed no signs of it until after they escaped from captivity
So go argue with that site too.
One more

Note that it even tells you that it was 6 days after the fact when they showed Stockholm syndrome
So no it isn't limited to if it was developed while in captivity only
