there is a reason that man has kept a job at espn for two decades while everyone else around him gets fired every 2-3 years.

I mean, he's good at what he does...he's consistent. He never says anything you'll remember tho.

ESPN seems fairly loyal to long term talent.

Tom Jackson has been smiling his ass off because the Broncos are relevant again. He is a legend there, and a homer too. I've noticed this ever since the training camp reports started.

So jadillac the c00n defending Uncle Tom "Sambo" Jackson, another c00n? What a surprise :stopitslime:

Uncle Tom gets no love b/c he

A.) Kisses Massa Chris Berman's ass/shucks & jives on NFL Countdown
B.) Let Rush Limbaugh come on his set & talk about the "media's desire to see a successful black QB", in reference to Donovan McNabb several yrs ago. Sambo just sat there, then wanted to come back & apologize :aicmon:

If it wasn't for the NFL & ESPN, Sambo Jackson would be shining shoes at your local barber shop while whistling dixie.

Tom Jackson was the only black man on the set that said something to defend Donovan that day. It was Michael Irvin, who most people on here would say is "real", that sat there with his mouth shut. Get your facts straight.
