6 series is the best one for tcl and other brands under 1000 just the panel lottery u gotta worry about meaning either u will get a great TV panel or a shytty one

Quality control issues basically from what I read and was told since they get random panels from different places

I prefer LG and Samsung but I ain't tryna blow a bag so anything good in the $400 to $800 range will do.

My TV was from 2013-2014.

But I still have it and still am in the return period for the new TV

Should I return and get mine fixed

Mine also had some black lines on the screen...dead pixels?

Samsung LCD I gave to my mom and originally bought in 2008 is still going strong

My Panasonic Plasma from 2011 is also still rocking

Having the black lines changes everything. You'd need a new panel. Almost certainly not economically viable to repair that part.

I had two black lines for maybe a couple months and it just recently went all black.
