My knee been hurtin like a b.tch

Like over a year ago, after starting to hoop alot outside, and just jumping around alot period i started getting these bad ass knee pains in just my right knee, ankle too a lil bit. Every now and then i would hear it pop and shyt and over time i realized i started to run slower and shyt. So after some months I went to the doctor, they did Xrays and shyt and all he said was cuz of my height it was putting too much weight on my knees, cuz my thighs didnt have any muscle in em really:flabbynsick:

So i decided to stop jumping so much n take a break, slowly the pain got better a little bit. But the past weeks its comin bacc, the other day it was hard to walk(not really) but my knees were kinda shakin a bit, im scared brehs :sadcam:

I asked my mom for one she talking about "just do the workouts (some squats):snoop:

If i do get one, will the pain eventually go away?

They have some knee work outs you can look up online that will actually help that I've done myself :manny:

It's just a matter of being consistent with it

Maybe im overreacting
When im at the court i can still play full court and even stay in front of the fastest AI ass nikkas. Its just the pain, everytime i feel it i have visuals of brandon roy :to:

yeah knee pads are cool for a bit; but u def gotta work out your legs. and opiates aint gonna do shyt except get u addicted; nsaids like motrin or advil actually help with the inflammation rather than just numb the pain.

Try a knee brace. Get one that has a hole in the front for the patella.
Or, try a patellar tendon band/strap. It goes around the leg below the knee.

I have knee issues too from years of weight lifting. It comes and goes. When it hurts, I'll wear the patellar tendon strap. If I'm playing hockey, I'll wear a knee support.
