This team aint it im tired of all the coping.

"Its still early in the season"

"We still need time to gel"
Tf? :what: tell that to the Cavs, Bulls, Wizards.

They got all these wings and still get torched on D every night.

Another elephant in the room. I don't think its enough shots for all these cats. You can't tell me all of these young dudes are happy about their situation.

4-7 so far and biggest issue I see is that Capela has lost the athleticism that had him playing borderline elite defense and finishing consistently around the rim. The bounce is gone right now and I don’t know if he’s just out of shape or what but he’s not the same player as last year so far.

Bogi,KH, Hunter, and Cam are logged jammed for minutes at the wings as I predicted would happen. Bogi’s contract may not allow for it but I would like to see Cam in the starting lineup for defense and let Bogi come off the bench for better scoring punch with the 2nd unit.

I hoped the Hawks would look for a trade given all these pieces mainly because we don’t have enough player doing things on the floor at an elite level consistently.

Outside of Trae being an elite offensive weapon and JC being elite athletically, we are pretty much average in every other way waiting on someone like Hunter to become a Kawhi type to take this team the next level. I actually do expect a trade if this keeps up but it may not be for what I originally thought. We need a presence inside ASAP.

I don’t want Cam anywhere near a starting lineup. Inconsistent shot, no handle, BBIQ is hit or miss. Please do not start him

Nate’s gonna have to do something with the rotations in the second half. We’re coming out of halftime and losing leads pretty consistently now

Agree with you about Cap tho

I’m starting to think we may be in addition by subtraction mode :patrice:. Anyways, several thoughts after last night’s game…

1. Not enough consistent minutes to go around for Dre, Cam, Bogi, and Kevin. Someone needs to go.

2. The NBA has changed. We have too many “finesse” players. Every game these dudes are arguing calls or having issues with the physicality being allowed.

3. We need Big O back bad.

4. At what point do the rookies get a shot? Jalen/Sharife can’t be any worst than Gallo/Lou/Delon right now.

5. Coach Nate lineups have been VERY suspect. Hope this isn’t due to the assistant coaching turnovers from the offseason.

6. Clint is not the same player.

7. Nate needs to shorten the rotation down to 8 or 9 players. fukk all this 10 deep shyt, cats can’t really find a rhythm as is. Someone’s feeling will just be hurt.

It’s still early but we have some issues that definitely need addressing sooner rather than later :hubie:

My biggest concern from all is this team is this team is looking EXACTLY like when LP was at the helm. The offense is not consistent...no movement, Trae dominating the ball wayyy too much, and the second unit is again struggling with poor PG play, and our defense has been shaky at best.

I would probably insert Kevin into the starting lineup and let Bogi run the second unit.

Thank God I’m still smoking on that Braves championship parade pack and got that UGA pack on deck. These Hawks don’t look good rn and before y’all cuss me out for making suggestions that we make a trade, it’s clear something is missing. This isn’t a good team right now

Well to be honest, Braves were under .500 until after the All-Star break and people were saying the exact same thing about them 3-4 months ago.
