I like the idea but at the same time I don't mind the grass, just hate how it acts it's on steroids. I need to stop being a fickle bytch and bite the bullet on this idea if I go through with it. I do like the growth retardant idea but I'll have to make sure its not something remotely carcinogenic. The Round-up case has filled with all kinds of reservations about any chemical product that is plant-related.

You can get one of these for about $10 if you don't have one already. Mix 2 parts gasoline with 1 water and douse the fukk out of it just before sundown. Ideally you wanna let that do its thing but if you have kids, get up before sunrise and spray over the lawn again with pure water to wash away any pollutants.
We use gasoline for everything. Ants, weeds, grass, snakes. Hell I wouldn’t be surprised if some southern folks used gas for sore throats and colds

call tru-green if you want to. Setting the liriope off with the mahonia and different cultivars of calla lilys framing the entrance, with bluebeard and joe pye weed flanking the borders of your house could win the admiration of the neighborhood.
