EDIT: turns out I was right lol. Saw the video of Ja Rule - I like that he doesn't have hypemen. Goes to show you that Social Media/The Coli is just literally "vocal minority" all day. Turns out there's mad people and that people we all know (that are famous) attract crowds. Even Ja Rule who got sonned to another galaxy by 50 and whose Fyre Festival got separate documentaries on Hulu and Netflix. A regular person's life is regular and when a famous person comes around they line up and pull their phones out. It's all relative (an unsuccessful but famous person is going to get way more attention/hype than a successful regular person).
