You shoulda called Lg directly
I had burn in on my screen from gaming, not only did they provide free replacement screen, they sent the technician free of charge too

I did try that. That wasn't the issue it seems. As for OP, did you exit the apps or just switch over to cable? Mine would do that from time to time. Found out of you don't actually exit the app, it takes up memory space. That causes the TV to cut off while using another app. Mine never cut off completely and never came back on though
A breh from MaineDamn. If you lived in maine, you have an implied warranty for four years after purchase, on p much everything. Plenty of stories of Mainers hitting companies with the “yall gon fix my shyt”
I bought this LG 55" OLED back in 2021 off Amazon. I usually rock with Samsung products but this was on sale for like $1600. TV was fukking beautiful. Picture was vibrant. Colors popping. Blacks were dark and bold. Best TV I had ever seen
2021 through 2022, smooth sailing. My one year warranty ran out in 2022. Starting at the end of last year, my shyt started acting funny. When I would use the youtube or netflix app on the tv, sometimes it would just freeze and the screen would go black and the tv would just turn itself off. Then it would turn itself back on and off like 3 times before remaining off. I would have to unplug it for 30 seconds to get it to reboot.
It only did this when using Netflix and Youtube. Very strange. I went through all the troubleshooting points to see what the issue is :
-No sleep timer on tv.
-Changed outlets
-Made sure other electronics worked well on said outlet.
-Reset TV back to default settings
Nothing worked. So to bypass this, I would just use my Xbox Series X to run Youtube and Netflix... I mean.. Well.. because it's not like I use it for anything else
Yesterday I forgot and ended up using the Youtube app on the TV and this bytch froze and then turned off but this time, it stayed off. And the red standby light on the TV disappeared signaling that the TV had lost power. I cannot get this tv to turn back on.
I've only had this mf for 2 years and 2 months and I'm not ready to spend another G on a brand new TV. I got another 55 inch Samsung LEDTV that ive had since 2018 and that TV still works just fine but this new shyt already done died on me.
I hate LG products

That's on you, breh. If you were patient and waited for the LG guy, it probably would have been free. Best Buy/Geek Squad is a major rip off. LG i susually excellent to OLED customers.LG was the 1st one I called. Guy told me that since my tv was out of warranty, they'd have to send a technician out to try and fix it instead of replacing it. But the nearest tech was located about an hour away. So I got a tech coming from my local best buy this Friday to check it out
Well my Samsung LED is 5 years old and is still working fine. I can only roll with my experiences and LG sucksPeople keep saying Samsung but my samsung(2020)was powering on/off on me in less than 3 years. Samsung straight up told me the price to fix the tv is the same as buying a new tv. I’ll never buy a samsung tv again. Also i’ll never buy a tv without an extended warranty too.
In my history of owning tvs ive never had a tv die on me. I didnt even game on that tv.
nikka yo tv broke as fukk, you are useless to this community. My QLED (stfu nikka yo shyt is broken in real life so my QLED would put your OLED in a kimora) still rocking 3 years later.
