I’m friends with both of them, I even helped them get together but ultimately the girl is my actual friend. They’ve been together for years, live together and are in a serious relationship. He was drunk and randomly said he loved me at a house party. I was shocked and uncomfortable, he immediately said sorry straight after. I do believe he truly loves her, it’s clear by the way he looks at her. I don’t want them to break up but I’m a little bit conflicted as a friend/woman. I also acknowledge the fact that he said sorry straight after he said it and he was extremely drunk. Should I just let it go or should I tell her?

Let it go :what:

He probably didn’t even mean it like that

Thanks. I’m leaning more towards not saying anything because I genuinely think they have a solid relationship. I just wanted other perspectives because I feel slightly guilty about not telling my friend. To flip it, if your friend’s girl said she loved you but dropped it immediately after, would you tell your friend?

If i consider her a friend then i wouldn’t take it any other way to where it would make me uncomfortable.

My boys’ girls told me they love me but i see them like they my sisters so it was never uncomfortable

Understood. I guess I just took it the wrong way. Sometimes I can be too ‘hyper alert’.

Nah I think since he was drunk he got a serotonin kick and said it in a sorta "this girl always looking out for us she super cool I love this girl" type of way. That serotonin kick be having people cry, love, basically get all emotional like Molly for a brief second

Men say it to each other after some alcohol. There was a whole beer commerical about " I love you maaaan!" Youtube it

Now let me ask you something.

Last weekend this girl I'm talking too and her best friend came over to drink. We all got drunk as hell and I started arguing with the girl Im seeing cause I found out she smashed some dude a couple of days after our first date, then a week later, after testing the waters and realizing she liked me, decided to pursue. I still felt a little betrayed cause she was adamant about no fukk buddy no booty call yet goes and does just that. Now it's me and these rules apply? "Blah blah because I like you realize it now and want more" her bff was on my side and said it was foul too

Anyway date gets super drunk, threw up, goes on the bed and passes out COLD...5 min later her best friend has her tongue in my mouth and we're smashing in the bathroom.

Then we all jump in bed. Sleep. Ol girl wakes up first since she crashed first, tell us she's going to go downstairs to buy rice, leaves us in bed........round 2 :Snoop:. Ol girl came back we turned our backs and pretended to sleep....30 min later we wake up as ol girl was cooking. Her friend dressed, shook my hand and left us.

What is going to come of this? Why did her friend do that?

Ok, wow. Honestly, I think her friend is petty, insecure, maybe jealous. Unfortunately, women are conditioned to compete. When some women see their friend getting more attention they act out. Or maybe it’s just an internal struggle. She may have low self esteem and wants to feel desired, so she seduced you, that made her feel powerful and wanted. Usually when a woman has low self esteem they get a temporary boost from sleeping with someone(especially someone they’re not supposed to sleep with) even though most men aren’t that hard to seduce if you’re half way decent looking. On the other hand, maybe she just finds you attractive and isn’t a loyal person, so she went for it. Either way, what she did was low as hell.

Did you sleep with the friend as some sort of revenge? I don’t know what’s going to come of this. The girl you’re talking to will most likely go mad if she found out. This shyt is messy, if I was you I’d move on. The friend will try it again till you get caught or she’ll sabotage whatever you’re trying to have with the girl you’re talking to.

Now let me ask you something.
