This is straight fire bruh

The soulful beats on here were more my thing but I'm impressed at how you managed to layer so many sounds and textures together without it sounding distorted and overdone. I preferred the sampled based beats (Track 10 and 15 my fav) but really like how you mixed your original sounds over it. The best part about it though is that it managed to keep my attention the whole way through the tape, there were a lot of different vibes and feelings on the songs, the first two tracks were really unique, cant say I've ever heard anything like that.

What equipment do you use for VSTS and laying out drums etc? The mixing and mastering is also great, shyt comes out way louder than my beats, whats your process in mixing and getting the beats out loud?

I'm gonna be in the process of getting a tape together soon but I dont think I'm on the level of producing what you've made here yet, need to learn how to mix and keep my beats interesting like you've done here.

I didn't expect such positive feedback cause nobody really said anything bout my project.

I just EQ every instrument. Taking out the lows or mids highs bit making room for different melodies.
And Pan synths to left and right to make space for each side

Man I use tons a shyt load of FX.
On my Kick and Snare I use: Neutron 3 Transient Shaper + Fruity Transient Processor + EQ

I copy my chopped sample into 4 layers and have Ozone 8 Maximizer + Fruity Maximus on all of them. And EQ
All with these Fruity Love Philters on them below:

- AP

- LP (this one I automate with it's 'Cut-Off Frequency' to make Wah-Wah sweeps)

- BP

- HP

Just really really using a lot of FX on each element to get improved soundquality.

Yeah I find feedback tends to be quite brief online these days lol, this place usually is the best for getting good quality feedback.

Thanks for the info, I think I'm gonna check that Ozone VST out. I followed FL tutorials on mastering but I find using the standard plugins on there just doesnt do enough to get the loudness out.
