Don't want to finger out the ways the police/narc/DA's office work, but they've cased you out way before those detectives came knocking. You won't be able to get out of it representing yourself. They have an airtight case. You'll need a lawyer to help you work out a plea agreement.
Jails and prisons are over populated I doubt you get jail time. Probation will screw you over in terms of employment, what's worse is if you get house arrest.

I don't know about High price, but you'll need to kick out some $$$$...... Court date Nov 4th? see that's the crap I'm talking about, a bunch of hurry up and wait. You'll be in court for about 1 - 3 hours, but you'll only be in front of the judge for about 5 minutes and they will reschedule the next appearance a month out.
I will say that they will take it lighter on you since you are in college and 1st time offender.......Make sure you tell your Lawyer all of this( even the National honor society stuff ) and when the judge asks do you have anything to say, make sure you talk and talk about your good points ( College, Job, kids to feed, mother to take care, you regret it )etc. Also it helps if you have family members that can come to court with you. My Father was at mine and I pointed that out to the judge.
