Best thing to do is take out a line of credit and pay the card off with that...then pay the LOC in installments (the interest rate is approx 7% vs a CC 20% or whatever)...in any event, it's a lot lower.

i would add, going forward, pay off the monthly bill on time without incurring any interest charges.
